I'm just getting into streaming on YouTube to build my personal brand up. Mostly just doing AMAs and showing people my work process. I bought some gear (mostly used) to help me stream. Below is my streaming setup at the moment.

    • Sony a6300
    • Sigma 16mm 1.4f
    • Yeti X (also used for podcasting)
    • OBS Studio

I chose the Sony a6300 since it has an external mic jack and it shoots in 4k. I don't really need the 4k but I wanted to invest in a long term camera, and I assumed everyone will be streaming 4k in 5 years. The Sigma 16mm 1.4f is the lens I use. I saw a review for it on YouTube and bought it. The Yeti X I choose since I got it on sale on Black Friday and the new voice enhance software feature is pretty legit. OBS studio is the standard broadcasting software and it hooks into all of the platforms I want to stream on.

Please share your setups and why you chose it!
